Mahavir Mandir
The Mahavir Temple of
Hanuman Ji is one of the most important temples of Lord Hanuman not only
in Bihar but also across India. In 1947, the temple gained its popularity as
hundreds of refugees used to visit the temple of Sankat-Mochan during the
partition of India. During that time the temple was restructred with concrete
architecture. The old edifice was remade into a massive marble rock temple in
1987. Inside the sanctum sanctorum, the big idol of Hanumanji is consecrated.
