Sri Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Vari Temple
Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Vari Temple is a famous pilgrim center dedicated to Lord Hanuman located in Kasapuram Village, in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. The Anjaneya idol at this temple was installed by Sree Vyasaraya. The temple got its name as Nettikanti because the lord sees his devotees with his the right eye.

Legend
According to the legends, Sri Vyasarajaru was an ardent
devotee of Lord Anjaneya lived in the 15th century. He installed this 500 year
old Lord Hanuman idol in Kasapuram village during his religious tour. One day,
Vyasaraya saw Lord Hanuman in his dream, who told him about the idol underneath
the soil and over it was to be seen withered Neem Tree and that it would become
fresh the moment Vyasaraya reaches the said spot. Next day, located the spot in
his dream at Nettikallu village and asked the villagers to dig the place. A 10
feet idol of Lord Anjaneya was discovered. The idol was reinstalled at the
present place.
Architecture
The temple has been constructed according to Dravidian style
of architecture. The idol in this temple is carved out in such a manner that
the right eye is visible and lord sees his devotees with his right eye and
satisfies their desires. The temples outer walls are sculpted with images of
different gods.
