On the banks of Lakota Lake, among the perennial echoes of the chants of Lord Ram, stands the sublime temple of Bal Hanuman. The temple was built in 1963-64 by Shri Prembhukshuji Maharaj. The temple is mentioned in Guinness Book of world records for continuous 24-hours chanting of the "Ram Naam", since August 1, 1964.

Architecture

The Anjaneya  temple is simple in its architecture. White pillars and open arches form the exterior with a dome at its top. The huge hall inside that the deities of Gods around its circumference leaving the centre area vacant for devotees to sit and pray.

Culture

Jamnagar is famous for its oil refineries. Reliance Industries, has established the world's largest oil refinery near the village of Moti Khavdi in Jamnagar district. The Essar Oil refinery is located in the nearby town of Vadinar. It is also known for  its four marble Jain temples.
