Gajanan Maharaj temple
The followers Shri Gajanan Mahara have constructed many
temples dedicated to the Saint in different parts of India. In the year 1988
Mr. Paliwal donated the area of land for the shrine. On the day of Basant
panchami, Bhumi pujan was conducted under the guidance of Shri Guru baba and in
the presence of the Gajanan family. In the year 1992, the Thursday 'Maha
Prasad' started at the place. Today, the shrine is visited by devotees from around
the country. Satsangh and Maha Prasad are celebrated in large numbers.

Legend
Gajanan Maharaj from Shegaon, Maharashtra, is revered as a
saint by his devotees. "Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan" is the
largest temple trust in the Vidarbha region. His followers consider him as
incarnation of Lord Ganesha and Lord Dattatreya. The Saint's devotees have
constructed many Gajanan Maharaj Temples in different parts of India.
Architecture
An arch with two elephant statues on either sides, open into
the building which houses the shrine. The idol of the Saint sits on a red and
silver embellished throne. He is bedecked with silk attire and ornaments
