The copper hawan
pali, as the name states, is a pali or a small spoon with a long handle used when
performing Hawan. The 12-inch copper pali is used to pour ghee and other
samagri into the hawan when the holy fire is lit.
The pali is made
of copper, as it is considered a sacred metal in Hinduism. The copper Pali is
also used to distribute holy water and milk to worshippers after the pooja or
rituals.
