Trikuteshwara Temple
Situated in Gadag town, Karnataka, the Trikuteshwara Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple dates back to the Kalyani Chalukyas who ruled this region from around 1050 to 1200 CE. The temple houses three Lingas mounted on the same stone. There is a shrine dedicated to Goddess Saraswati within the temple premises. There is no pooja offered here as the Saraswati temple was vandalised in the early age.

Architecture
The architecture of Trikuteshwara Temple was planned by the
great architect Amara Shilpi Jakanachari. The temple has ornate pillars with
intricate sculpture. The sanctum enshrines three Shivalingams mounted on the
same stone. There is a shrine dedicated to Goddess Saraswati within the
Trikuteshwara temple complex, with exquisite stone columns. The east sanctorum
has three lingas representing Brahma, Maheshwara and Vishnu; There is another
temple dedicated to three Goddesses - Saraswathi, Gayathri and Sharada. There
is a beautiful old well at the temple.
