Located in Kolkata, Thanthania Kalibari is a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Here, Goddess Kali is known as Siddheshwari. It is still debatable whether the temple of Thanthania Kalibari of North Kolkata was

established on 1703 or 1803.

Devotees can visit Thanthania Kalibari Temple on Saturdays and Tuesdays, as these two days are considered pious for the Shakta followers. Though the temple remains open from 9 A.M. - 8.30 P. M., but the best time to visit the shrine in North Kolkata is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
