Located at Pathapatnam mandal of Palakonda revenue division, Shirdi Sai temple is a famous pilgrimage centre. The temple was built by a committee registered as Sri Shiridi Sai Baba Sevasangam.

Legend

According to the legends, a group of devotees formed a committee named as Sri Shiridi Sai Baba Sevasangam and decided to build a temple for Baba. As per the decision, the construction activity was started. The foundation stone was laid on Nov 22nd, 2001.

Architecture

The temple was constructed according to the modern architecture style.  The temple has a statue of Sai Baba of Shirdi. The main samadhi is surrounded by marble railing guarded by silver pillars. The marble flooring inside the mandapam and the walls of the temple having lots of images of Sai baba.

Srikakulam is renowned for its indigenous arts and crafts brass products such as bells for temples, cooking utensils, flower pots, lamps and other household items. The place boasts of many notable contributions to cultural fields like film, music, art, and architecture.
