Panchadharla Dharmalingeswara Temple, Kotilingam Temple Panchadharla, Dharmalingeswara Temple
Situated at Dharapalem also known as Panchadarlais, Panchadharla Dharmalingeswara Temple or the Kotilingam Temple Panchadharla is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kottilingam which means crores of Lingams is situated near the five fountains. There is a carved Lingam which has 12 rows where each row has 85 lingams. The two inscriptions found in the temple dates back to the 14 century AD (1407 and 1428) and contain the genealogy of the Eastern Chalukya dyansty.

Legend
According to the legends, once the king Dharma Raja came
here to heal his sickness, he renounces the sex and hence got the name of
Dharmalingeswara. It is also believed that Arjuna did penance on a big rock
here for Pasupata asthram.
Architecture
The temple is built according to Cholas style of
architecture. The Temple has a carved Lingam which has 12 rows and each row
contains 85 lingams. The mandapam of the temple has astounding pillars and it
also bears inscriptions dating back to the 15th century. These contain a
genealogy of chiefs of the Eastern Chalukya ancestry and the Eastern Chalukya
titles of Sarvalokasraya and Vishnu Vardana.

Visakhapatnam. Telugu is predominantly spoken language in Visakhapatnam. The
local population is mostly Telugu and Oriya who have moved to the area from
nearby Orissa and Kalinga. Now many BPO’s and Software companies have started
coming here and many NRI are settling here, thereby pushing up real estate
prices. The economic growth of this place can be attributed to the availability
of convent educated English speaking workforce of the city. Puffed rice,
chopped onions, tomatoes, boiled peas, Idlis, Upmas and Dosas are famous food
here.
