Baba Rameshwar Dass Temple
Along the border of Haryana and Rajasthan, stands the temple of Baba Rameshwar Dass. The huge temple was built by Baba Rameshwar Dass with the help of his devotees. The construction began in 1963 and since then, it has been renovated and extensions added, making the shrine one of the greatest in the area. People of Haryana and Rajasthan revere Baba Rameshwar Dass. The temple is dedicated to Lord shiva and the Baba himself.

Baba Ramehswar Dass has many followers in Haryana and
Rajasthan. The Baba came to Narnaul in the beginning of 1963 and wanted to
build a shrine. The people of Bamanwas gave the land for the temple to the
Baba. Later amenities like electricity, water-supply and roads were also
provided. The construction started in 1963 and with the help of devotees and
locals it was built into one of the striking shrines of the area.
Architecture
The temple of Baba Rameshwar Dass, with its bright colours,
radiates charm and serenity. There is a huge Hanuman idol at the main gate. The
main hall is vast with beautiful paintings and colourfully sculpted pillars.
All along the walls of the halls are niches which ensures images of various
Gods & Goddesses. On the right side
of the main temple, there is a Shiva temple in the premises of which is a huge
stone image of Nandi. Long corridors with arch windows lead to various rooms
housing idols of Gods and saints along
with pictures of, stories form mythologies.
Culture
Narnaul is a historic town in the district of Mahendragarh.
A hybrid architectural influences of Mughals, Rajputs, Persians and the British,
can be seen in tombs and historical sites here.
It is also the birth place of Birbal, the minister in Akbar's court. The
shrine lies at the border of the district close to the neighbouring state of
Rajasthan.
