Hindus are very fond of their Goddess Tara and they often visit Her, whenever they come across with a tough time in their lives. Mostly they pray to the deity and opt for the "Mannat" and on the fulfilment of the manokamana (wishes), they offer the Goddess with their promised items such as double goat sacrifice (jora patha bali), sarees, ornaments, precious things etc.
