Tadbund Hanuman / Anjaneya Temple

Located in Sikh Village in Secunderabad, Sri Tadbund Veeranjaneya Swamy temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The idol of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy in this temple is self-manifested.  The main specialty of this temple is that the idol of Sri Vinayaka is present on the left side of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy on the same rock.

Legend

According to the legends, Sri Suvarchala Veeranjaneya Swamy is worshiped as Utsava idols in this temple. Suvarchala is the daughter of Sun God and wife of Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy. To complete the studies on Nava Vyakaranas, out of which four has to be studied only by a married person, Sri Anjaneya Swamy has to get married to Suvarchala Devi. Both both Sri Anjaneya Swamy and Suvarchala Devi practiced Brahmacharya as Sri Anjaneya Swamy dedicated his entire life for Sri Rama Chandra.

Architecture

The temple was constructed according to the architecture style of Mughal - Rajput -Qutb Shahi.  The Temple has a big spacious Mukhamandapam hall with Granite Grabhalayam, Vimana Gopuram and Maharaja Gopuram.
