Shri Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev Mandir

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Shri Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev Mandir is one of the most famous and oldest temple situated in Varanasi. It is believed that the temple was constructed in the 18th century. Believed to be emerged by itself about 2,500 years ago, the length of the Shiv Ling in the temple is increasing every year. It is believed that Mata Sharda had spent some days in this temple.
Architecture
The temple is constructed based on Malyali and the Banarasi culture architecture. There are diffent idols of Gods and Goddess are worshipped inside the temple premisis along with Lord Shiva.
