The Sun Temple of Jharkhand is a newly built temple. A charitable trust named Sanskrit Vihar built the temple under the directions and endeavor of Shri Ram Maroo, the MD of the Ranchi Express.

Architecture

The Sun Temple is one of the newest temples built in the the Indian State of Jharkhand. Under the patronage of the Sanskrit Vihar, the temple is built and has become popular among the tourists because of its magnanimous architecture. Built around the sacred pond created in memory of the Chhathavratis in the Chhota Nagpur Plateau region, the white temple stands with its 18-wheeled chariot like form and the lifelike seven horses. This edifice is designed with the concept of the Sun God's chariot run by the seven horses.
