Bala Hanuman / Anjaneya Sankirtan Temple

Shri Bala Hanuman/ Anjaneya Sankirtan Mandir was established by Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj in 1963-64. It is one of the oldest temple established by Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj. The temple holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Record for continuous chanting of Ram Dhun since last 48 years. The ritual of "Akhand Ram Naam" was started here and then as time passed, this practice has been adopted by many Hanumana Temple in India.

Legend

Shri Prembhikshuji was born in 1812 in Chhatauni, a small village in Bihar in a religious farmer's family. After becoming sannyasin, he started the tradition of non-stop (Akhand) chanting of Rama Naam at Jamnagar and then at remaining 6 centres at Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Rajkot, Mahuva, and Muzaffarpur.

Architecture

This is a relatively modern temple, built on South-Eastern portion of Ranmal Lake also known as Lakhota Lake. The temple has been built excuistively and boasts of beautiful carvings and pillars. There is a sense of mystery around the architecture, as the temple has survived cyclones, earthquake, and even cross border attacks, at times.
