Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple or Sri Mayakoothar Perumal Temple is one of the Nava Tirupathi, nine Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Perungulam,Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli route, Tamil Nadu, India in the banks of Thamiraparani river. The Presiding deity is Lord Vishnu in the form of Srinivasa Perumal.
According to the legends, once an asura abducted Vedasaran's wife Kumudhavalli, who is a devotee of Lord Vishnu. Vishnu defeated the asura and danced on his head as Koothar. And Vishnu restored Kumudhavalli to her husband.This temple is part of famous Nava Tirupathi Yatra.

Male devotees have been advised to wear dhoti, shirt, pyjama or pant and shirt while women and girls should wear saris or churidhar or 'pavadai' with half-sari. Devotees wearing lungi, bermudas, jeans and tight-leggings would not be allowed.

Srivaikuntam railway station is situated on the Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur line. All passenger trains from Tirunelveli stop at this station. The temple is about 1.5 miles from the railway station.
Srivaikuntam is also well connected by road with Tirunelveli, Tiruchendur and Tuticorin and all other major cities.
