On the banks of Lakota Lake, among the perennial echoes of the chants of Lord Ram, stands the sublime temple of Bal Hanuman. The temple was built in 1963-64 by Shri Prembhukshuji Maharaj. The temple is mentioned in Guinness Book of world records for continuous 24-hours chanting of the "Ram Naam", since August 1, 1964.

Devotees are advised to wear clean and conservative attire
Jamnagar is famous for its oil refineries. Reliance Industries, has established the world's largest oil refinery near the village of Moti Khavdi in Jamnagar district. The Essar Oil refinery is located in the nearby town of Vadinar. It is also known for its four marble Jain temples.
By road: State transport buses and private luxury coaches connect Jamnagar with various centres of Gujarat.
By rail: There are daily trains on the Western Railway with direct connections to Ahmedabad.
By air: Various domestic airlines connect Jamnagar to Mumbai.
