The Sun Temple of Jharkhand is a newly built temple. A charitable trust named Sanskrit Vihar built the temple under the directions and endeavor of Shri Ram Maroo, the MD of the Ranchi Express.
The Sun Temple is one of the newest temples built in the the Indian State of Jharkhand. Ranchi can be reached conveniently via train, air or by road. The temple is 39 Km from the main city of Ranchi. Pilgrims arriving by train will have to alight at Ranchi Railway station. From there they can get buses and taxis to reach the temple. The same goes for those arriving via flight. They can also avail the rented vehicles and taxis from the Birsha Munda airport.
