By the banks of River Ishani, in and interior village of Birbhum, West Bengal called Dakshindihi- there lies the beautiful shrine of Mata Adi Shakti or Fullora Devi. The Attahas Fullora Devi Temple is one of the Shakti Peethas; places where the body parts of Goddess Sati fell to Earth. The word 'Attahasa' means laughter and it is believed that it is here the Goddess's lower lips fell. The temple is a site of Hindu pilgrimage throughout the year. The exact date and the origin of the first temple is still unknown.
Being a Shakti Peeth, the history of Phullara temple is accociated with the Dakshya Yajna event and the self-immolation of Sati. After the corpse of the Goddess was mutilated by the sudarshan chakra od Lord Vishnu, the lower lip of the deity fell here to form the Attahasa Shakti Peeth. There is no proper idol of the Goddess is consecrated. A stone of around 15 feet symbolizes the lower lip of Shakti. Here, the deity is worshipped as Maa Phullora which means Blooming. The temple of Attahas is located on the way to Labhpur - Ahmedpur Road; 5 Kms prior to Ahmedpur. Devotes have to reach the Labhpur station from Kolkata - Howrah. The nearest airport will be Barshaman that only receives national flights.
Women have to wear clean saree while men are supposed to be in dhoti or payjama along with Kurta while entering the Attahas temple.

The daily puja and aarti is offered to the Goddess and Her Bhairav Lord Vishwesh in the morning and in the evening along with rice or anna bhoga.
